“Next Food Network Star” Jeffrey Gets Cooking Shorts on Web
If you were on Team Jeffrey during the last season of “Next Food Network Star” and were sad he lost out to Melissa, fear not! The Food Network realized that Jeffrey Saad also had a big following and they have given him his own web presence on FoodNetwork.com.
The site features his “Ingredient Smuggler” pilot, which was filmed during the show, as well as four shorts in which he cooks up 5 Spice Stir-Fry Chicken Soup, Tilapia Tacos, Garam Masala Chicken Pot Pie, and Smoked Paprika Lasagna.
A senior vice president for programming at Food Network, Bob Tuschman, said that while Jeffrey was not declared the winner of the show, he “won the hearts of a huge number of viewers.”
