A1 - 03-14-07 Results
The results this week could have been shocking – there were many bad, odd performances this week. But, in the end, it wasn’t. After a performance by Diana Ross, we were told Brandon and Phil was in the bottom three. Phil was a bit of a shock, but his performance last week wasn’t the best.
Then after a break it was between Sanjaya and Haley. I actually thought Haley, who channeled Katherine McPhee so much the other night, it was unreal, might be in the bottom, but it was actually Sanjaya, who has been a favorite up to this week. Phil was told he was safe, so it was between Brandon and Sanjaya. Brandon was told he was going home and Sanjaya, looking more defeated than Brandon, sulked back to the remaining 10 idols.
Unless Sanjaya really comes out next week and just blows the socks off everyone, the voters really should just let him go home. He is a sweet kid – I like him and wanted him to do well, but his performances are so bad, I think he even knows it now. Unless he can really show us something new and exciting next week, I beg of you America, just let Sanjaya go home.
