Aaron is fired on The Apprentice LA
OK, I’m really getting tired of The Apprentice in LA. I’ve only watched one full season of the show before this one, but this season is getting ridiculous. First, the bees. How does going out into a swarm of bees make you worthy of working with Donald Trump? I don’t care how much you would pay me, you’re not getting me anywhere near those bees. I know I’ll have nightmares tonight about the show.
Next, are the producers of the show really starting to play up this whole romance thing or what? In the boardroom Trump asks Tim about Nicole, and Nicole about Tim. Who you get romantically involved with is your business, not mine. I’m watching this show to see how these people perform in real business situations, not how romantic they could be. If they like each other, good for them. Now tell me how you’d be as a project manager.
I also think the candidates are faint copies of the ones from the past two years. There’s really no likeable or un-likeable characters yet. Maybe it’s too early in the show, but it is the fifth week so someone should stand out by now. No one has done that yet. Well, maybe Frank but that’s it.
OK, what happened on the show? Kinetic wins the task, selling more honey than Arrow, and gets to play basketball with some old guys from the LA Lakers. Arrow circles the wagons and starts to point fingers at Surya, the same person they praised two weeks ago when they won their first task. Aaron, as project manager, brings back Surya and Nicole to the boardroom. Trump starts talking romance with Nicole, saying it’s more interesting than anything Aaron has to say. Aimee from Kinetic is a bulldog in the boardroom (Trump describes her as a hard ass) and completely supports Surya, saying that from her experience with him he is a hard worker and doesn’t deserve to be fired. Finally Trump fires Aaron, saying he isn’t vocal enough and didn’t provide good leadership.
