Ace still in the run
We found out quite a few things tonight. We found out that
* Simon is the grumpiest millionaire in the world
* Chris should have sang “Under Pressure”
* Elliot should have sang “You’re My Best Friend”
* Taylor is actually older than his mom (okay, maybe he only looks older)
* Paris and her mom are apparently the same age
* Taylor should win American Idol merely for saying Queen is the “greatest rock band of all time.”
Okay, some of that is just my opinion.
The bottom three was Elliott, Bucky, and Ace. Ace looked worried (as he should have been) the whole time they were announcing who was safe on the top row. I really, seriously thought it was Ace’s time to go. Bucky did a much better job with “Fat Bottomed Girls” than Ace did with “We Will Rock You.” But no, once again the charade continues and Bucky goes back to Rockingham, NC and we are stuck with Ace another week. Someone, please take the phones away from the sixteen year olds and Paula!
Next week the contestants sing Rod Stewart. Which, is weird - are they going to sing his recent songs, which are other people’s hits? And, if Ace sings “Do You Think I’m Sexy,” I promise you, I will puke.
