This week’s American Idol voting reach a new high – 35 million votes. But, better than that, Simon admitted he gave Sanjaya a compliment! They straightened Melinda’s hair. I really liked it better up a little – it helped elongate her almost non-existent neck. And Phil – I realized tonight I think I would enjoy his singing more if I didn’t have to look at him. No offense intended towards Mrs. Stacey, but the Nosferatu thing is just creepy.
I really should listen to the radio more. I had never heard of Akon, but I really liked their song and enjoyed their performance. Sorry JLo, I fast forwarded through yours. There was more talk of the upcoming American Idol Gives Back. It was hilarious that the little girl in Africa drew a picture of Simon with breasts!
The bottom three was Phil, Haley, and Chris. There were a lot of boos from the crowd that Chris was in the bottom three, but hey, at least this week Sanjaya didn’t totally suck. Phil and Haley sure do get a lot of airtime being in the bottom three constantly. Chris was immediately told he was safe. And, as I predicted, Haley’s time was up. Not that I am really clairvoyant or anything – anyone could see her time was up.
Next week is country – hee haw!
