AI: Gina is Eliminated
Ah, results night. You just never know who is going home this late in the competition. The contestants were divided up into three groups of three – the bottom three, the middle three, and the top three. Honestly, it wasn’t all that hard to guess who was who. Melinda, Lakisha, and Jordin were in one group (top), Sanjaya, Chris, and Blake were in one group (middle), and Gina, Haley, and Phil were in the last group (bottom).
When Ryan announced that Gina, Haley, and Phil were in the bottom three, Gina looked like she was either going to puke or pass out. Phil, somewhat used to being in the bottom three, grinned like he had lost his possum. Then Ryan told him that he was safe. Many had predicted that tonight was Phil’s night to leave, but I guess the Navy is still voting for him. Haley cried, Gina still looked like she was going to pass out as Ryan read the name. “Haley…congratulations you can stay another week.” So it was Gina who was leaving. The crowd booed, but votes are votes and if you ain’t getting them, you are going home.
