Alexis Cohen Ex Idol Contestant Killed
Alexis Cohen who tried out twice for American Idol was struck and killed by a car in New Jersey. The Asbury Park Press reported that she was killed early Saturday morning in Seaside Heights.
Cohen auditioned for American Idol in 2007 and once again for Season 8 of American Idol. She probably is most remembered for her angry rant after being rejected by the Idol judges.

I was saddened by this! There is a lot of news about former Idol contestants, but I remember both auditions by Alexis and how last year, she tried to play it straight, but the judges goaded her to act up like she did last year and everyone had a good laugh. Too sad…she was so young.
