Amazing Race 9 enters Final Four

Tonight we’re down to just four teams as the race continues in Australia. Eric and Jeremy, the frat-boys are again in first place followed by Monica and Joseph, BJ and Tyler, and Ray and Yolanda. Basically, the strongest have survived and the racing is going to be quite a bit tighter until the end.

With only four episodes left, it seems to make sense that tonight may be one of the ‘several’ non-elimination rounds left in this season. It almost seems like they’d have to keep all four teams for a second round regardless of their finishing position. If they keep knocking off teams every episode we’ll be down to two teams with two episodes left at the end. We’ll have to wait and see, but the teaser for tonight’s episode reveals three teams in a heated footrace for the Pitstop – and it sounds like they are all aiming for 2nd place or at least not to finish last. I’m willing to bet the last time is not eliminated and they get to go another leg with the usual consequences.

Another teaser promises one team yielding the other just seconds after beating them to the yield mat. This may mean BJ and Tyler get their ‘revenge’ upon MoJo after all – or that MoJo beats them to it. It should be some good drama. Other anticipated drama involves one team teasing and frustrating the other by sharing rumors of some sort.
