Amazing Race: Amanda and Kris are Eliminated
The “Amazing Race” teams left for Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. It was too funny when Mike and Mark used their cabbie’s phone and he called Cara and Jaime’s cabbie and the girls pretended like they were the Lufthansa reps. The teams made connecting flights through various cities, but most were delayed. Mike and Mark, Christie and Jodi, and Jen and Keisha were in the lead while everyone else was waiting for the second flight.
Teams had to go to the Church of Saint Innokenty, where they found a Detour – Stack (they had to go to the riverbank and stack wood) or Construct (build shutters then deliver them to a house and install them). Almost everyone chose stack, but Mike and Mark got frustrated when their stack fell, so they went to construct. They didn’t have much better luck there until Mel and Mike showed up to help them after their stack of wood fell as well. I loved it when Mike referred to them as a “caravan of idiots” when they couldn’t find the house. Amanda and Kris decided to join them after their stack fell, but they were behind because they hadn’t built their shutters.
Amanda and Kris fell further behind when Margie and Luke decided to blind U-Turn them. Amanda and Kris thought it was Jen and Keisha or Christie and Jodi who had done it – they had no idea it was Margie and Luke.
Next, the teams had a Roadblock. One team member had to ride a bobsled and gather seven letters along the way. These letters had to be arranged to spell a famous Russian playwright (Chekhov). Luke couldn’t get the name and got really frustrated, but he finally figured it out.
Christie and Jodi finished first, winning motorcycles. Keisha and Jenn finished second, Tammy and Victor recovered from their mistakes last week to finish third, and Margie and Luke finished fourth. Mel and Mike came in sixth and Mark and Mike, after being in first at one point, finally finished in seventh. Amanda and Kris finished last and were told they were eliminated.

Such a pity Kris was eliminated. I would have loved to see that hunky body half-naked and running in the cold next ep!
