Amazing Race: Anthony and Stephanie are Eliminated
Personalities really came out this week on Amazing Race. We saw Terence act like a diva when his head got hit with the taxi trunk. Of course, this was after he whined last week because Sarah was talking to other people instead of focusing on him. Sarah called him a “ball of emotion” but I’d call him a drama queen. Tina went around telling everyone that she got the airline to switch to a bigger plane so they could all be together. Now, maybe she was a bit persuasive in getting this done, but no one bought it. Ken and Terence got into a bit of a heated argument until Terence apologized and Ken kissed him.
We saw a new potential alliance form when Toni and Dallas took time to tell the clueless Terence and Sarah where the cabs were while everyone else passed them. Ken and Tina yelled at each other, but it seemed like their relationship strengthened when they finished first. It was a great week for nerds as Mark and Bill tried to win, but finished second. It was sweet when they said they would forgo the off road vehicles that Ken and Tina got for finishing first if winning helped them restore their marriage.
Marisa and Brooke came off as pretty dumb this week as they decided to do one detour, but took the route to the other. They ended up on the beach, pushing a boat towards the water with logs. They completed the task, but then got confused and were looking for a container – that was part of the detour they didn’t choose. Kelly and Christy didn’t come off much better when they lost their taxi (which was parked inside the gate). But, they still ended up finishing 7th.
Nick showed his true colors when he tried to team up with Sarah at the roadblock then left her for Andrew. He told Andrew if he got the correct destination name off the wall, he would come back, but he left poor Andrew there waiting for him. Still both finished the race ahead of Stephanie and Anthony, who also had trouble at the wall. They finished in last and were eliminated.
