Amazing Race: No One is Eliminated
The “Amazing Race” was down to the last four teams, so tonight would decide the final three. The teams flew to Prague to find the old town square. Brian and Ericka fell behind when they took the shuttle bus instead of a taxi.
Once at the square, they had to find a man in a vintage Praga. The problem was they had to figure out that a Praga was a convertible. Meghan and Cheyne knew to look for a car. Sam and Dan lucked out being right behind them because they had no idea what it was.
Next, teams had to go to Kayaky Troja for the next clue. It was a Detour – Fast and Furious (take a kayak down a course and grab a ribbon which contained the clue) or Slow and Steady (pull themselves along a rope course). The Globetrotters and Meghan and Cheyne did the ropes course. Big Easy struggled with the ropes – that was a whole lot of man to be pulling up a rope! Flight Time took his time going down the ladder and it ticked off Meghan and Cheyne. He said he wasn’t doing it on purpose, but thought it was a good idea once Meghan accused him of it. Sam and Dan chose the kayak and flipped over three times, meaning they had to start over each time. There was much bickering between them. By their fourth attempt, Brian and Ericka had caught up with them, so they decided to switch to the ropes course. Sam and Dan stole Brian and Ericka’s taxi driver by offering him more money to take them to the next clue. Brian and Ericka were not happy.
Teams had to figure out the words on the clues referred to the Estates Theater. Meghan wanted to work with the Globetrotters, but Cheyne didn’t, and he decided to take a taxi instead of the tram. They fought over Cheyne’s decision to just abandon the Globetrotters, who ended up taking the tram after all.
The next clue was a Roadblock. Someone had to search the 600 opera seats in the theater to find a tiny mandolin, then bring it on stage to Don Giovanni for the clue. Cheyne found a bunch of instruments, but they were not tiny, so he kept getting rejected. Brian and Ericka finally got a taxi and showed up at the theater. There were empty cases, but Cheyne finally found the real miniature mandolin. At least everyone else knew what to look for after that. The Brothers were the next team to find the mandolin. I was really hoping Big Easy would find the next mandolin – I didn’t want to see them eliminated. Big Easy finally found it and they took off for the pit stop.
The pit stop was the Prague Castle. Meghan and Cheyne were first. It was once again a race between the Globetrotters and the Brothers. Sam and Dan came in second place and the Globetrotters came in third. Don Giovanni had already eaten a sandwich and sat down by the time Ericka found the mandolin. Brian and Ericka came in last, but this was a non-elimination leg, so they got a second life. They would have a Speed Bump next leg, but they still have a chance.
