Amazing Race: Tammy and Victor Win!
Tonight’s “Amazing Race” was a real heart breaker. The final three teams – Victor and Tammy, Margie and Luke, and Jaime and Cara – flew from China to Maui. Everyone left at the same time, so it was an even race at first.
But, Margie and Luke pulled out an early lead. They were doing well until they got to the Surfboard Fence where they had to find 11 surfboards with pictures of stuff they had done, and then put the surfboards in order. Luke was way ahead, but got stuck on the last two. Victor and Tammy got there second because Jaime and Cara’s taxi driver got lost, then had to stop for gas. While Luke was stuck on the last two, Victor finished and they raced to the finish line.
Margie finally suggested that Luke work with Jaime and he helped her find the first board, while she helped him find the last one. Jaime and Cara came in second and Luke and Margie came in third, but they had everyone crying as Luke said how lucky he was to be on the race with his mom. I still sort of wish they could have won – they were a tough team.
