Amazing Race: Terrence and Sarah are Eliminated
The teams on Amazing Race left out of India for Kazakhstan on three different flights, but it didn’t matter. The chicken factory they had to go to didn’t open until they had all arrived anyhow, which was good news for Andrew and Dan. The Roadblock, to find a golden egg in the factory, was also a Fast Forward. Nick and Starr and Terrence and Sarah decided to go it, even though Sarah didn’t think it was a good idea. As it turned out, it wasn’t. The teams had to go to a restaurant and eat sheep butt. The bad news was Terrence is a vegetarian and barely ate any. So, after sitting there trying for a while, they had to turn around and go back. Nick and Starr finished and came in first again. I am so tired of that!
After the golden egg, the teams had to take a crane to Koktobe Arch and find Mongel warriors for their next clue. Andrew and Dan got lost, but eventually found the way, right before Terrence and Sarah. The next clue was a Detour – play like mad (learn two instruments and play a Kazakhstan tune) or act like fools (dress as a cow, drink milk, and deliver themselves to the butcher).
The detour proved to be a comedy of errors. Toni and Dallas passed the milk stand, and then Tina and Ken didn’t see the next clue at the bottom of the glass. When they finally found the clue, they ran back to the puppet theater to return their cow costume, which they needed. Toni and Dallas told them at the butcher shop that they needed it, so they had to run back and put it on again. Andrew and Dan left their sneakers behind, which slowed them down when walking to the pit stop. They first took a cab to the pit stop, even though it said “walk.” They had to take a cab back and walk in. Editing made it look like they barely beat Terrence and Sarah, but then it always does. Terrence and Sarah were eliminated and I think Andrew and Dan are just barely holding on (as they have been all season!).
