Amazing Race: The Final Three Teams Announced
The four remaining teams had to visit Guam. Danny and Oswald were marked for elimination, but at the start of the show, they were right up there with everyone else. The Blondes are playing tough though.
The Detour was Care Packages (load 500 pound boxes and go to drop them in a humanitarian effort) or Engine Care (scrub clean parts of a B-52 Bomber). Everyone but Charla and Mirna choose Engine Care. The show played up to that Engine Care was the harder task, but actually, everyone finished before Charla and Mirna, maybe because the flight to drop the boxes took so long. With them in last place, it looked like maybe Danny and Oswald had a chance, but then they got lost while trying to locate the naval base.
The Roadblock was to use a GPS to find a pilot on the Guam naval base, have him give new GPS coordinates for the landing zone, take him there, and call for helicopter extraction. The Blondes did well, but it proved a bit difficult for everyone else. Charla kept pressing the keys (which the navy guy with her kept telling her not to do) and Danielle just seemed lost most of the time. Oswald seemed to do okay, but they were so far behind at this point, it didn’t help much. But I did love when he saw Charla and said, “The Teletubbies go to war.” That cracked me up!
In the end, the Blondes finished first, Eric and Danielle finished second, and Charla and Mirna finished third. Danny and Oswald were eliminated. Next week is the finale! I predict the Blondes are gonna win – they are looking really strong, but Eric and Danielle have come back from near elimination recently. And don’t count out Charla and Mirna – they have hung tight with a tough, competitive crowd.
