America’s Best Dance Crew: The Banner Falls for Beat Ya Feet Kings
This week’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” challenge was to learn the dances of Bollywood. ABDC had a professional dance crew there to teach the crews the moves.
First up was Massive Monkees with the style of Bhangra. I thought the guy moving backwards on his head during the opening steps was cool. JC felt they worked the floor well, Shane said they did so many things that were sick, and Lil Mama thought they were awesome.
Vogue Evolution seems to be about to implode. Leiomy walked off practice after missing the dress rehearsal. She said it was tough being there because she missed home. The judges felt their dancing, in the style of rajasthani, was good, but Lil Mama had harsh words for Leiomy. She told her that her behavior was unacceptable and she needs to act like a lady.
Rhythm City continued to kick it into high gear with their style of bharata natyum. Lil Mama said their’s was the best combo of their dance style with the challenge and Shane liked that they paid respect to the Indian culture during the dance.
Afroborike was the last crew to find out they were safe this week with the style of kathak. After harsh words from Shane last week, he said this week that he will keep bashing them if he has to to make them perform like they need to. JC reminded them that they had to bring it every week and Lil Mama called it their best performance yet.
In the bottom two were We Are Heroes and Beat Ya Feet Kings. We Are Heroes got the gidda style while Beat Ya Feet Kings got garba. Lil Mama thought We are Heroes tore it up, especially with the slot machine trick. Shane said that his YouTube words last week fueled an anger in Beat Ya Feet Kings that forced them to take it to the next level.
The judges decided it was the end of the road for Beat Ya Feet Kings and their banner fell.
