America’s Best Dance Crew: The Banner Falls for Phresh Select
There were 7 crews remaining and two have really stepped up to the plate – Boogie Bots and Fanny Pak. These guys have seen their share of time at the bottom, but this week, both made it into the safe zone. Also safe this week were Super Cr3w, SoReal Cru (my personal favorite), and A.S.I.D.

The challenge this week was a speed up – with a master mix that started out slow, but then sped up. The crews had to make the change swiftly and seamlessly from the slow part to the fast part.
Having said that Boogie Bots really stepped up and was not even at the bottom this week, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with their speed up routine. When the music sped up, they had a lot of fast hand moves, but the routine as a whole didn’t seem to speed up. Shane thought they were sloppy in places and Lil Mama agreed. Super Cr3w did well, but Shane said he wasn’t blown away by the performance. He said he would have loved this routine in the first few weeks, but now he needs more.
A.S.I.D. really impressed me this week. I like the whole “ballerina criminal” thing as JC put it. Shane said they were hot and Lil Mama thought Joey, who is deaf, was the hardest hitting of them all. SoReal Cru continues to put out complex choreography, but the judges felt that it slowed them down a bit this week. They loved the slow part, but felt the fast part was a bit weak and they were thinking about it too much.

Fanny Pak – can these guys do no wrong? First of all, I love the way they look each week and this week, their prom routine really won them rave reviews. Shane said they were his favorite group right now and JC said they use props, but it never looks gimmicky.
The two crews at the bottom were Phresh Select and Supreme Soul. Supreme Soul was a bit shocked they were in the bottom four last week, but like JC said, it made them hungry, and they came out with a good performance. Shane called it their best night ever. I personally loved the over/under thing with the guy arched in the middle. Phresh Select did well but Shane said the beginning was corny and Lil Mama said while they aced it, it didn’t grab her attention.
Phresh Select, the Philly crew, was sent home.
