America’s Best Dance Crew: The Banner Falls for Strikers All Stars
It’s the girls versus the boys on America’s Best Dance Crew this season. For the first time ever, two girl crews have made it to the top 4. It was the Battle of the Sexes challenge this week with the crews having to use moves from a video. Was it just me or did MTV seems to be making some sort of statement as one video was from Chris Brown and one was from Rihanna (who, in case you have been on Mars the past two weeks, were involved in a domestic violence incident).
As expected the two safe crews tonight were Quest Crew and Beat Freaks. It is going to come down to these two crews, no disrespect to Strikers All Stars, but it will be these two in the finals. Quest Crew got Chris Brown’s “Forever” and impressed the judges with their performance. Shane said they were definitely back. Beat Freaks got Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” and brought the house down with their performance. Shane said no one could touch them right now.
Strikers All Stars, who were on the bottom for the first time, got Daddy Yankee “Pose.” The judges tore into Mike, with two of them mentioning how he looked lost during the first part of the performance. Fly Khicks, who were on the bottom for the fourth time, got Rihanna “Pon de Replay” and the judges just seemed cordial about this performance at best.
The banner fell for Strikers All Stars. Fly Khicks looked surprised and they should have been! I keep waiting for them to leave each week and somehow, like a bad penny, they keep turning up. But, this is it – Quest Crew and Beat Freaks will eat these girls alive. I don’t mean to hate, but they really shouldn’t entertain any thought that they can actually win this competition.
