America’s Best Dance Crew: The Banner Falls for Supreme Soul
There were only five crews left on America’s Best Dance Crew and this night would decide the final four. Mario said the results were closer than ever. The top three safe crews were SoReal Cru, Fanny Pak, and Boogie Bots. That put Supreme Soul and Super Cr3w at the bottom.
The challenge was called Bring on the Beat, with the teams using gym props. First up was Fanny Pak with gym class props. Lil Mama thought it wasn’t their best performance, but Shane said they always are so creative. JC pointed out that jump ropes weren’t in synch. Next was SoReal Cru. They got band instruments to use, but they couldn’t play them. They did a good job of dropping cases, flipping latches, etc. Shane said they really paid attention to details, but JC thought their dancing was a bit stiff. Boogie Bots, the final safe crew, were the bench warmers. They had water bottles, chairs, and headbands to use. JC didn’t like that they used water bottles for such a big boom, but Shane said it was one of their best performances.
Super Cr3w was the basketball team. I liked when the guy jumped off the top of the goal and the Flashdance Gatorade thing at the end. Shane said he was blown away – that they just blew his mind. JC loved the swipes with the basketball between the legs. Supreme Soul was the hockey team. I thought they might have had it easier with hockey sticks as props. Lil Mama liked the human basketball trick and JC agreed that Supreme Soul did some really intelligent things.
All the judges jumped on America for putting these two crews in the bottom two. Lil Mama even said she didn’t excited by the Boogie Bots. That was a bit rude to call them out personally, but Shane told America they needed to get the vote right.
At the end of the night, the banner fell for Supreme Soul. It was sad to see the one guy just stand up on stage with tears slowly falling down his face.
