America’s Best Dance Crew: The Banner Falls for Team Millenia
This week on America’s Best Dance Crew, the crews had to perform to a Britney Spears song and incorporate part of her dance routine from the video.
The first two safe crews were Beat Freaks and Strikers All Stars. Beat Freaks – man, these girls were tight this week. They are so B-girl but this week, they brought their Britney sexiness. Their song was “Womanizer” and they had to be tough and sexy. Shane said the world was not ready for that and called them sexy and beautiful. Strikers All Stars’ song was “Gimme More” and they had to use mirror images in their routine. Love their cool mirror prop. They were clean and received a standing ovation from the audience for their performance.
The next crew learning they were safe was Dynamic Edition. Their song was “Stronger” and they had to incorporate chairs into their routines. This was tough because, as cloggers, they have the metal on the bottom of their shoes. The dude looked like he almost slipped once while dancing on the chair. JC called them out for dancing more around the chairs then on them, then said they were a little too feminine. Guess they weren’t “stronger.”
The next safe crew was Quest Crew. They got “Toxic” and had to perform part of their routine blindfolded. Shane loved the feminine vibe and their blindfolded somersaults. These are still my boys! We found out Fly Khicks were safe as well. Seriously, who is voting for this crew? I think the last two weeks, we’ve seen crews better than Fly Khicks leave the show. And tonight should have been their night, but I was not impressed. Lil Mama thought they were sexy and Shane called them powerful, but I thought they were sloppy.
The teams battling it out were Team Millenia and Ringmasters. Both performed very well and JC said it would be a tough decision to choose who had to leave. I guess they felt the Ringmasters brought it a bit more because the banner fell for Team Millenia.
