America’s Got Talent: Drew Stevyns, the Eriam Sisters, Recycled Percussion, Barbara Padilla, and Erik and Rickie Advance
More crummy results on “America’s Got Talent” results night. Not that the results themselves were crummy, but the way they were announced were. Drew Stevyns and the Eriam Sisters were brought out. Nick told Drew he was advancing and let the Eriam sisters think they weren’t for a few minutes. Then he told them they were – both acts were through. By the way, I think Drew is the only wildcard act to make it through to the semi-finals.
Then, Nick brought the African High Flyers, Coney Island Chris (who all three judges Xed last night), and Pam Martin’s Top Dogs out. And guess what? None of them were going through. Pam Martin left the stage and rightfully so. Her act was flawless – even Piers said so. To be treated like that – I would have left the stage too!
Matt and Anthony and Ishaara were sent home as Recycled Percussion was sent through to the next round. It came down to the Lollipop Girls, Barbara Padilla, Mia Boostrom, and Erik and Rickie. The Lollipop Girls were sent home and Barbara Padilla was told she was safe. The judges had to chose between Mia and Erik and Rickie. Of course, it was split – the Hoff chose Erik and Rickie and Sharon chose Mia. Piers criticized Mia last night, but said he watched the tape back and it was better than he originally thought. Still didn’t help her as he put Erik and Rickie through.
Is anyone in Vegas seriously going to pay to see a kid’s dancing act? Please, AGT, I beg of you – either get the winner a show in a more family friendly place like Branson or impose an age limit for the show!

i agree. its unfair to the other contestents as they are being put through merely because of their age. thoe other acts were much better than theirs.
