America’s Got Talent: First Finalists are Chosen
It was a tough night on “America’s Got Talent” as some really good acts were sent home. The first act to learn they were safe was The Texas Tenors. That was a no-brainer. After a performance by the Muppets, we learned that Grandma Lee too was safe. Poor thing looked like she was about to pass out when they were making the announcement.
The Hoff then butchered a Michael Buble song – that was almost painful for me. But, it was all better when I learned Kevin Skinner was safe. He even gave Sharon a big smile!
I was very, very surprised when Afrodunk was told they were going home. That left the Voices of Glory and the Fab Five. Sharon said she wouldn’t decide between the two and the Hoff passed it to Piers. He said they were going to throw the rules out and send both acts through to the finals. That means there will be at least 9 finalists. Is it just me or does that seem like a lot?
