America’s Got Talent: Five of the Top 20 are Chosen
After seeing ten of the top 40 last night on America’s Got Talent, we learned that Extreme Dance FX, Jessica Price, The Cadence, Neal E. Boyd, and James Gang would be going on. It was heartbreaking to see the little Elite girl crying, but it was nice to see the James Gang guy carrying her around the stage. Then we saw the next ten acts:
Beyond Belief Dance Company, a dance troupe – the judges liked them, but like Extreme Dance FX, they did nothing for me
Paul Salos, a Frank Sinatra impersonator – I love this old guy – he got all ten of my phone votes!
Kazual, a boy band – Piers thought they were good as a group, but not individually and Sharon agreed
ZOOperstars!, an acrobatic dance troupe – Like Piers, I don’t really understand why these guys are here. They would be great at a ball game though.
The Wright Kids, a family band – They sang a Sixties song while a psychedelic background danced among the flowers. Hoff said they were like the Partridge Family and we needed to return to those values. Is he drinking again?
Spc. Daniel Jens, a singer/musician – He was okay, but Piers is still not on the Jens train.
Jonathan Arons, a dancing musician – What was up with his trombone? It was terrible and he still got praise from the judges!
Slippery Kittens, burlesque dancers – I wanted to like them because they were dancing to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, but I just couldn’t. Piers also dissed their tattoos.
George the Giant, a giant/side show performer – That whole piñata Houdini upside down escape thing was just kinda strange.
Queen Emily, a singer – Great – got a standing O from the judges.
Well, I only got 3 out of 5 last night, but I will try again at who I think will make it through: Queen Emily, Paul Salos, Daniel Jens, Jonathan Arons, and the Wright Kids or maybe the ZOOperstars! Who knows.
