America’s Got Talent: It’s Baaaaccckk!
The show I love to hate is back – “America’s Got Talent.” There’s a new host, Nick Cannon, and the same old judges – Piers, Sharon, and The Hoff, David Hasselhoff. They did the crazy “We’re in NYC,” “We’re in Seattle,” “We’re in Seattle” thing that they did last year. Just pick a city and stick with it!
There were some weird acts this year, like Moses Lanham, who could turn his feet 180 degrees. I thought Piers and Nick were going to hurl watching this guy walk. Shine was a group of two brothers and two sisters who sang. Kind of like the Bradys, but where were Bobby and Cindy? Doesn’t matter, they didn’t make it through. Nor did the Cher impersonator, who really did sound like Cher! Also missing the Vegas boat was animal soundmaster Debbie Victor and Joseph Maracina, a impressionist who thankfully told us who he was doing beforehand.
Those making it through (although some of them were only shown briefly) were the FootworkKingz, Peter Peterkin (the Rock-n-Roll President), who I liked, Black Fire Percussion, Anointed S (a beat boxer), Rockin Rory (a dog act), the EriAm Sisters (who I thought were really good), the Jesse White Tumbling Team, the Urban Nation Hip Hop Choir, and the NYC Gay Men’s Choir (are they going to have a choirout?). The fire act Draconik make it through, but sadly, Sky and Vlad Eros didn’t. Maybe it was the setting her hair on fire that killed their chances. And, while the judges loved Brad Byers, who stuck a fish hook through his nose and had it come out his mouth, they said no to Noel the Freak. Apparently you can put stuff through your nose, but hooks in your eyes is just too gross.
Notable acts going through were David Johnson, who wrote a hilarious song about his love for a certain Baywatch character. Nope, not Pamela Anderson, but the one and only Hoff. It was absolutely hilarious. I dunno how he is going to follow it up, but Piers called it “Brilliant.”
Bruce and Simone made it through, but I don’t know how. Their “act” was basically making out in double hoops. For some reason, the crowd loved it. Piers told them to “just get a room.”
Not told to get a room was newlyweds Dave and Zoe. Frankly, I wasn’t that amazed at their dance act, but it was cool when 100 pound Zoe lifted 240 pound Dave.
The final act, always a tearjerker if you’ve never watched the show before, was the Voices of Glory. These kids were good, really good, but the story about their mom being in a head on collision that put her in a coma for 8 months and they sang at her bedside was just a bit much. Yes, it was an inspiring story and they wheeled mom out, but they kids were good on their own, the show didn’t need to play the sympathy card.
And then, at the end of the day, I have to ask myself how many of these acts could really draw anyone in Vegas. The show doesn’t know what it wants to be – the inspiring tearjerker wonderful kids act show or the amazing adults only Vegas show. I still say they should have an “American Kids have Talent” show that I could just skip.

Wow Now The Fact That Agt. Put Plastic Down On The Floor While I was Doing A Head Stand Into a Back Bend Makes No Sense See What we really do !
Plastic Melts & we told them not to use that & they did it anyway they swore up & down that the floor boards were Flame Retardent AGT. lied to us, they pretty much put me in danger because it could have been my Face & Safety is No. 1 with us they contacted us we did not contact them otherwise we would have never Participated on this show Americas Got Talent !,
They Seriously could have hurt me by leaving plastic on the boards because my Fire Act is Different from the Rest & Going into a HeadStand into a Backbend with plastic on the floor is really Something not to laugh About,They also kept us in the Green room for 13 hours it is like putting a drunk driver behind a car you do not keep fire performers waiting for that long you do not put tired Fire performers on stage or anyone that is doing a physical act !
please keep that in Mind

Reality shows should come to an end ,cause from the looks of it half of them are staged to screw people up that are actually really good at what they do.
Sky & Vlad you rock !,keep doing what your doing & hopefully one day I can see your show live.
