America’s Got Talent: The Final 10 Perform One Last Time

This is it for this season’s “America’s Got Talent” – the final 10 acts performed one last time. First up was Voices of Glory, who had the judges on their feet. Piers said it finally all came together for them. Cute kids, but I don’t think they will win. Next up was Hairo Torres. I thought this was an incredible performance, but Piers said it didn’t work for him because there weren’t other dancers. I thought it showcased his talent. Lawrence Beamen didn’t sing The Lord’s Prayer as he had said, but did “You’re My First, My Last, My Everything.” Piers said Lawrence was the new Barry White, but he needed more love because when he confronted the ladies in the audience, he had the deer in the headlights look. Barbara Padilla, of course, wowed the crowd. The Hoff said she commanded the stage.

The Fab Five were told by Piers that they had tremendous chemistry and Sharon said the routine was beautifully choreographed. The Texas Tenors brought out more cheese than ever, singing “My Way,” but Piers said they were his guilty pleasure. Ugh, too much cheese for me! Piers said Drew Stevyns performed out of his skin and might just go all the way. Grandma Lee came out looking pregnant, but the baby daddy wasn’t Piers, but Simon Cowell. Piers demanded a paternity test, saying he wanted his part of the million if Grandma Lee won. She is just too darn funny!

Kevin Skinner went upbeat this week, and while the judges agreed his vocals weren’t perfect, Sharon pointed out that Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan didn’t have the most perfect vocals either and Piers called Kevin a diamond in the rough. Last up was Recycled Percussion. I just cannot watch these guys without thinking of the Blue Man Group and that is not a good thing. Even their stage this week reminded me of the Blue Man Group’s stage. They are good, but this act is already being done.

I honestly have no idea who will win. Everyone did well this week and there is a whole lot of talent there, so the winner is anyone’s guess.
