America’s Got Talent: Ventriloquist Terry Fator Wins!
The AGT finale had everything – fireworks, dancers, special guests (including Sean Kingston, Taylor Swift, and Stomp Out Loud), and performances by the final four, the top ten, and the best of the worst. Oh yeah, and some of the Muppets were there too! We also saw last year’s runner-up, Quick Change. I don’t know what was spilled on stage, but poor Dania fell once then slipped another time. The winner, Bianca Ryan, is on tour, but sent a video message.
And I just realized how different the final few shows were. Last year, Quick Change was voted back on the show by the viewers – we weren’t allowed that option this year! And the judges each picked a favorite last year too. Hum, wonder why they changed it up this year.
I had to sit through the Hoff singing, which was the point where I wanted to turn the show off, but I had to find out who won. The final four were eliminated one at a time. First, young Julienne Irwin, who seemed to know her time was up as she mouthed “Cas” before his named was called to continue on in the competition. Next leaving was Butterscotch. It was down to just Cas Haley and Terry Fator. I had given all my votes to Terry, but Cas was a great performer, so I was nervous. Jerry and the show kept dragging out the winner’s name (I hate that!). Terry Fator looked like he was going to faint while Cas just smiled. But, in the end, it was Terry Fator smiling as he won the million dollar prize. To add to his joy, he found out he would be playing at Bally’s theater in Vegas. Bet that house won’t be empty!
