America’s Got Talent: Who’s in the Finals?
Tonight, the contestants were cut from eight to four. Didn’t they do this differently last year? I thought I remembered only Bianca Ryan and Quick Change being in the finals. It seemed much more dragged out last year.
Anyhow, the people who made it into the finals were no surprise to anyone I don’t think. Cas Haley was up first. He did great versions of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You,” chosen by the judges and “Sir Duke,” chosen by him. David said he really thought Cas had a shot at winning. Butterscotch was called up next. The judges chose for her to sing “What’s Going On?” and she chose to sing “Dance to the Music.” Her first song was straight singing while the second one was almost straight beat boxing. Either way, she is incredible. The third name called was Terry Fator. I love his ventriloquism act. He did an impersonation of Garth Brooks, then Roy Orbison. Piers said he thought Terry would be “crying” all the way to the bank because he thought he was going to win the million. The final name called was Julienne Irwin. I might have rather seen Robert Hatcher or Jason Pritchett but just because Julienne is so young.
And those guys were good too. I put all my votes in for Terry. I don’t know if it is a good sign or not, but it took me 30 minutes of straight calling to get in 10 phone votes for Terry.
