America’s Got Talent: Who is going to be in the Final 10?

This week, we saw the other ten acts compete for the last five places in the finals. There were mostly hits, some misses, and a big surprise from Boy Shakira.

I liked the Popovich Comedy Pet Theater’s act, but it was a bit slow. I did like the fur bit though. Didn’t like Cas Haley this week as much as I did last time, but I still think he is a shoo-in for the finals. Loved Terry Fator! He is just so spot on every time he performs. As Piers said – he has it all – good ventriloquist, good impersonator, good singing, and good comedy! The 2^nd Story Guys should make it through to the finals – at least I am hoping so. I liked Southern Girls better this time than before, but Piers said they had no chemistry, so I am afraid they may not go any further. Unfortunately, the Fault Line chose a not-so-great song to sing (“The Way You Make Me Feel”), but hopefully America won’t hold that against them. These guys are great! Jason Pritchett turned rock, which disappointed Piers, the Duttons cut the kids, and the Calypos Tumblers were great as usual.

And Boy Shakira – for some reason, America loves this guy. But this week, he was not Boy Shakira he was Boy Britney. I figured he just had a think for Shakira, but no, he is a drag queen. Ugh…can we have Leonid back if we are going to have a drag queen?

Finally, we got the results from last week’s voting. I was both happy and disappointed. Butterscotch and Julienne Irwin made it – deservedly so. Robert Hatcher is solid, so I was glad he made it too. The other two acts, I was not so happy with. I really didn’t think the Glamazons deserved to be in the final 10 (Manuel Romero would have been a much better choice IMO). I was also disappointed to see Sideswipe there – they just don’t do anything for me. What did you think about the first five acts to make it to the finals?
