American Gladiator: New Event - Tilt!
This week on American Gladiator the male contestants were Brick, a deaf guy who worked for the NJ Department of Public Works and Toby, a grocery store owner. The female contestants were Tiffaney, a business consultant and De, a business owner. Neither guy did well against Wolf on Hang Tough and there were no points scored on Joust, although Brick did take down Justice, but he left the platform first. Both guys tied with four points on Rocketball, but Brick pulled ahead on Vertigo and Tilt, a new event where the contestant and gladiator basically play tug of war in the air. Going into the Eliminator, Brick has a 12 ½ second lead. Even though he knocked his shoulder out of the socket on the pyramid, then popped it back, he won with a time of 2:10.
The women didn’t score in their first two events, but both scored on Rocketball and Earthquake. De managed to pull Hellga into the water on Tilt, which doesn’t seem to be an easy feat, but Tiffaney couldn’t do it. Going into the Eliminator, they were pretty even, with De having a 2-second head start. Tiffaney quickly caught De and never looked back, winning with a time of 2:57.
