American Gladiator: The Semi-Finals Begin
In the first of the semi-final matches, we saw Evan, the retail manager go against Anthony, the NYC fireman. Evan had the fastest Eliminator time so far, but Anthony looked like he would be some competition. But, Evan proved to be just too fast. He wasn’t much on the Joust – he was knocked off in two seconds flat by Titan, but man, he ran up the Wall and swung past Wolf on Hang Tough. Anthony put up a good fight, but going into the Eliminator, Evan had a 5 second lead. It wasn’t like he really needed it – he leaped up the wall and ran like a jackrabbit, beating his own record breaking time by 6 seconds.
On the girl’s side, we saw Siene, a gymnastics instructor, going against Shanay, a youth counselor. Both were dunked by Siren in the Hang Tough event. Shanay had a slight advantage over Siene in the Eliminator by about 2 seconds. Siene made it all the way with the handbike, but it was Shanay who finished first with a time of 1:51, so she will advance to the finals.
