American Gladiators: Crush Called for Kick
Tonight, the show featured Evan, a retail manager and Son, a firefighter. For the girls were Christine, a mortgage broker and Jennifer, a lawyer and football player. The guys did pretty well on the Gauntlet, but the girls failed miserably at the Wall, with neither making it up before being pulled down by a Gladiator.
The Gladiators continued to prevail at the Pyramid, with neither Evan or Son making it close to the top. The girls faced Earthquake, where Jennifer accused Crush of kicking her. It was really more of a push with her foot. However, a referee ruled it as an illegal move and Jennifer was given her points. Christine didn’t knock Crush off, but managed to hold on for 5 points.
Both guys and girls faced the Assault challenge next. Evan and Jennifer both hit the bulls eye, but Son and Christine were tagged by the Gladiators. Both guys flied up the Wall, with Evan making it first for 10 points and Son being awarded 5 points. Both girls did well on Hit and Run, but Hellga pegged Jennifer and sent her swimming.
By the time the Eliminator came around, Jennifer said she would need the 2 ½ second head start because she had been in the water so much, she was starting to feel under the weather. She was really whiney for a football player. In the end, it didn’t matter because neither Jennifer or Christine were able to beat the fourth place time, so although Jennifer finished first, she didn’t qualify for the final 8.
On the guy’s side however, Evan made it look like child’s play as he broke the Eliminator record by finished in 1:29. He is now in first and assured of a spot in the final 8. He knocked out Adonis, which is too bad; he had a great name for a future Gladiator.
