American Idol: Jason Goes Home
Well, Simon told Jason to pack his bags last night after flubbing Dylan lines and tonight on “American Idol,” it became official. Jason and Syesha were the bottom vote getters and for a minute, I was afraid maybe Syesha’s fan base (if the poor thing has one – I think she’s been on the bottom now more than Kristy Lee!) had betrayed her and Jason’s girls had pushed him through to another week.
But no, after much fluff about the Idols going to Vegas to see the Beatles’ Love Cirque show, Maroon 5, and Bo Bice singing, we were told Jason was leaving. Ryan told him “I almost feel like you’re a little relieved” and I think he was. He was just over his head – he knew it.
The phone calls were amusing tonight. One lady asked Simon why had hadn’t been knighted by the Queen and another thought he should play James Bond. To both questions, he said he was “available.” Cowell, Sir Cowell!

No more dreadlocks!!! Finally. I couldn’t believe he stayed on the show longer than Carly and Michael Johns. That’s all the teenage girls for you, voting for the “hottest” or “cutest” guy instead of the most talented.

I agree! He should have gone before Carly, Michael, Brooke - I think even Kristy Lee was improving into a better singer than Jason!
