American Idol: Matt Leaves the Show
Well, this week, American almost pulled a Chris Daughtry – again – on “American Idol.” Simon said that after he watched last night’s show again, he realized that everyone did well. This is a tough, tough season.
After a cake throwing segment (if it really cost 6k to clean up, I need to be a maid in the Idol house!), we saw Matt and Kris head to the right side of the stage and Danny and Allison head to the left side. Adam was left in the middle. See if you can guess what is coming next? Ryan asked him which group he thought he belonged in and he picked the Danny/Allison group.
Normally, that would have been correct, but this week, Adam had to join Kris and Matt in the bottom three. That’s right, Adam “I’ve probably lead in voting the entire season” Lambert was in the bottom three. No, no, I take that back. Ryan told Kris that he was safe. Adam was in the bottom two.
America – what is going on? Did everyone forget to vote for Adam? Are you tired of him or was it just an oversight? Luckily (well, not for him), Matt was the bottom vote getter and Adam was safe.
Outside of the contestants, I enjoyed seeing Taylor, Natalie Cole looked (and sounded) beautiful, but Jamie Foxx just didn’t do much for me. Think I’d rather see him on the big screen than singing on the stage.
