American Idol Replaces Joanna Pacitti with Felicia Barton
The top 36 was just announced last night, but now, things have changed. No reason has been given, but Joanna Pacitti, who Kara recognized as having had a record deal with Geffen in 2006, has been deemed ‘ineligible to continue” by American Idol official. Surely her experience, which includes the 2006 album (which sold 16,000 copies), plus songs on the Legally Blonde and Bratz soundtrack, had something to do with it.
Cut contestant Felicia Barton got what was undoubtedly some of the best news of her life when she found out that she would be replacing Pacitti in the Top 36.

the judges seemed to be keen on keeping Pacitti around, so why not keep her on the show? the show seems to thrive on scandal anyway…
