American Idol the beggining
Whoever thought that a show like “American Idol” would take such a life of its own. Initially appearing in England as a show called “Pop Idol”, “American Idol” took a life all of its own, especially in 2002 when Kelly Clarkson was crowned the first “American Idol”. From that moment on, “American Idol” was the hit thing to watch on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Let’s continue to support “American Idol” with a crowning of a new “American Idol” this upcoming fall.
