America’s Got Talent: Other Half of Top 20 Perform
Last night on America’s Got Talent, we saw 10 of the Top 20 acts. Tonight, we saw the other 10 after a great performance by Terry Fator:
Sickstep: Piers didn’t think they were much better than their last performance
Donald Braswell: I am glad Piers kicks himself every time he remembers that the judges sent Donald packing
Joseph Hall: Thank goodness he recovered from two so-so performances
The Taubl Family: I just don’t like family acts for the most part – sorry. Send them to Branson.
Sarah Lenore: Picked a song that was too big for her – may be in jeopardy
Nuttin but Stringz: These guys are great, pure and simple!
Kaitlyn Maher: Are you gonna pay $75 to see her perform in Vegas?
The Tapping Dads: Ugh, just ugh
Eli Mattson: Remains one of my favorites this season, even though I didn’t know the song
Jonathan Burkin: Three fiery batons? Hum, pardon the pun, but I am starting to warm to him.
It just dawned on me that there isn’t much diversity this year. Out of the Top 20 acts, 13 are singing acts, two are music acts, and three are dance acts. Good grief, we need the Zooperstars! At least they are a bit different from the others. Where are the jugglers? Where are the magicians? Where are the acrobats? Where are the comedians? I know all the ventriloquists are scared, but really – I am starting to thank God for Jonathan Burkin and his baton!
My favorites are Eli (so good and yet so humble – very Terry Fator like), Nuttin But Stringz, Donald Braswell, Paul Salos, and Neal E. Boyd. Yeah, I know…all singers. To them, I would add Queen Emily, Joseph Hall, The James Gang, Jonathan Burkin, and SickStep as my dream Top 10.
