America’s Got Talent – Shaving off the Talent in Las Vegas
The Las Vegas auditions were tonight at Planet Hollywood, but there was only one problem – they had too many acts! They had to cut down from 71 to 35 before they could even break that down to the final 20.
One of my problems with “America’s Got Talent” is that we rarely know exactly who did or didn’t go through to the next round. A list of names or a brief review of the acts moving on would be nice. They divided the group into musical acts and variety acts. Of the musical acts, I could tell that tomorrow night, we will see Johnny Come Lately, Cas Haley, the Glamazons, Butterscotch, the Little Rascals, the Fault Line, the Duttons, Michael Strelo-Smith, Fallon, the 3 Redneck Tenors, and Julienne Irwin. Byrain, who did so well last time, was sent home, which is a shame, I thought he did a good job and thought the judges loved him too.
Some of the variety acts fell apart due to nerves, but we will see more of Luka “Lazy Legs” and the Illmatic Styles, Leonid the Magnificent, magician Anthony Reed, magician Kevin James (who was simply amazing tonight!), Kashif, Sideswipe, and Boy Shakira. Personally, I thought the girl ventriloquist was better than Boy Shakira – I honestly don’t know what Piers and Sharon see in him. I am glad Leonid the Magnificent made it though, but had no idea what he did to be chosen to move on. Maybe we will see more of him tomorrow night.

Mr. Big “Who’s The Guy” Beal
This season is a big joke, not talent, and the judges have no clue. What ever happen to “Mr. Big “Who’s The Guy” Beal”. (Andrew Beal) How come he didn’t make the top twenty. The judges fell short on that one. Asleep at the wheel again. They let through the blonde female impersonator and the male dancer. What a joke. The sad part is we didn’t get to see Mr Big’s last cut performance
