AND THE TROPHY GOES TO —-
Three Super Bowl rings and now a Disco Trophy, that’s a lot of bling for one guy! Emmitt Smith certainly deserves everything he has won, the man shows that determination and hard work will do it all the time. Not the most talented of the dancers in the competition, his tremendous work ethic and determination took him all the way to number 1. It didn’t hurt having Cheryl Burke, last years champ, as a dancing partner either. It also didn’t hurt having the support of football fans all over.
Mario was certainly the dancer with the most natural ability, and his composure during all the criticism heaped upon him by the judges showed an unbelievable maturity. His partner wasn’t too shabby either!
As well it should, the final decision came down to the fans. I couldn’t pick between the two, and neither could the judges. Watching this series was like reading a good novel, you keep turning the pages, but you don’t want it to end. The bar has been set for next year. Can’t wait, can you?
