And Then There Were Three
When Ian said in his interview that he could go home because he got a 10, I don’t think he knew he was a prophet. Well, the public has spoken and the finals will not include Ian and Cheryl. He was gracious and humble in his exit interview and admitted that Cheryl was the reason he got as far as he did (did this statement not appear on the blog many times?)
Will somebody tell me if Tom Bergeron gets a percentage of the CDs and a cut of the take from the DWTS tour? He really pushes both. In my opinion the first number by Enrique Iglesias that was accompanied by the performances of Alex and Edyta and Louis and Karina was super. I’ll give it 3 *s. The second didn’t appeal to me that much because there was no dancing, and the show is Dancing With the Stars, not Singing with the Guests. Speaking of dancing, that was the first time I have ever seen gold flamenco shoes; Joaquim Cortes was interesting, but flamenco should be danced by a couple.
Samantha mentioned that next week, the dancers will be performing to dances picked by the judges. That should prove interesting, as some of the contestants, Joey and Laila are much more proficient in the latin style than the ballroom. If the judges choose ballroom for these two, they are giving Apolo an edge, and if they choose latin, just the opposite. That is in my opinion, and we all know what that is worth. Should be a great final!
