Another surprise on DWTS – Cameron is eliminated
Who would have believed that Jennie and Marie would be in contention longer than Sabrina and Cameron? Not me. This is the season of my discontent with the voters. True, Marie has a big voting base, the immediate family alone must provide as many votes as Helio in total, but even she seemed genuinely shocked that she made it to the semi final. Mel must be questioning her popularity, because even though she has been at the top of the leader board, she looked scared. Don’t forget, Sabrina was always near the top of the leader board. You never know.
The featured Macy’s star was an award winning choreographer named Fatima Robinson who hasn’t danced in performance in 6 years. No wonder, there was no pizazz in that performance; it looked like a music video gone wrong. Next week the featured performer will be Mr. Ego himself, Michael Flatley. How can you equate Irish Step Dancing with ballroom? Anyway, he is really an outstanding dancer.
Now for you Gloria Estafan, come, sing and leave your dancers on the bus; use the show’s pros. Glad you did it for your second performance – Maks, Mark, Julianne and Kym were electric.
Two things I noticed: Helio didn’t kiss Julianne at the end of their encore performance, maybe his girlfriend said “no”, and Jimmy Kimmel really needs those writers to settle their strike.
