Apprentice LA: Jenn fired for poor leadership; Derek fired for stupidity

The Apprentice is really starting to wear thin on me. I guess there is only so long of a shelf life on a television show before it starts to die out. I think that we’ve passed that point. Maybe moving to LA was Trump’s Jumping of the Shark, so to speak.

There is something that has been on my mind. During the first episode of this run didn’t Trump say that his son Don and daughter Ivanka would be his right hand people? How many shows did they actually appear on? This week we had former winner Randall, last show it was former winner Sean, and next week it’s the dude who won the first Apprentice. Since I didn’t watch the show then I don’t know his name. And is anyone else getting sick of this whole Tim – Nicole romance? Come on Trump, do we have to bring it up in the boardroom EVERY time they come in there? So they’ve hooked up. So what? Let’s get on to business.

Speaking of tasks this week. The teams had to produce an event for preferred Lexus customers showcasing a new model. Kinetic had the brilliant idea of offering go cart rides to the attendees. Now I personally know some Lexus owners and let me tell you this one – they would rather have their nails pulled out without Novocain instead of riding in a go cart. Lexus cars scream luxury. Go carts scream back woods carnival.

Speaking of back woods carnivals. How stupid was Derek to refer to himself as White Trash? Even if you thought you were why would you ever in a million years say that in the boardroom in front of Donald Trump? When I think of Donald Trump the first thing I think of is white trash. Kind of like how I think of go carts when I think of Lexus luxury automobiles.

Needless to say Kinetic and their go cart rides lost the task this week. Derek was fired because he was stupid in calling himself white trash in front of Donald Trump. Jenn was fired because she was a poor project manager.
