At Least Nine Lives

The teams were to head to the island of Mauritius tonight.  I loved when the Bama girls confronted the Barbies when they tried to let the Models in front of them.  I swear, if there had not been more tickets, I think Karlyn would have punched someone.

The alliance has a new name – the Six Pack – but it seems that while David and Mary are very devoted in helping people, Karlyn and Lyn are not so devoted.  The Cho brothers seem to fall somewhere in between.

Once in Mauritius, the teams had to find a schooner in Grand Baie.  The Bama girls didn’t want to wait on David and Mary, so they got there first.  Tyler and James were lost.  By the time they arrived at the shore, everyone else been to the schooner and was on their way back.  Mary and David were slow swimmers, so the Model pretty much caught up.

Rob and Kimberly had car trouble, so they had to get a new one.  The Barbies had a wreck – they rear ended a bus, but still managed to stay in first.  The Detour was sea or salt.  The teams either had to dig through piles of salt for a salt shaker containing the clue or hunt for a mast and sail on an island using a treasure map.  At first, only the Barbies opted for sea, but eventually everyone gave up the salt piles and headed for the island.  David and Mary were the last to give up the salt search, but when they arrived at the island, they found the rest of the Six Pack.

The Barbies finished first (and won scooters – hope they drive those better than the car!).  The Models, despite being hopelessly lost much of the episode, finished second.  Rob and Kimberly were third.  The Six Pack raced back together.  Mary planned to wait on the Bama girls, but Karlyn had already said she was running when she got there, as did the Chos.  The Chos came in fourth and Karlyn and Lyn were fifth.

Once again, David and Mary finished in last, but were not eliminated.  Talk about having nine lives!  But, same stipulation as last time – they have to finish first next leg or suffer a 30-minute penalty.  I just don’t think they can do it again, but who knows
