BB9: Holy Moly – James is Nominated!
This week was a shocker for me. Call me naïve, but tonight, this show really sucked me in for the first time this season. Ryan had a deal with the house being divided against each other. Natalie turned on Matt (or so it seemed) after he badmouthed her yet again and she, Josh, Sheila, Sharon, Chelsia, and James promised Ryan two free weeks if they would work together to win the POV, save Chelsia, and put up Matt. Ryan agreed to the deal. Of course, Natalie ratted on the deal, telling Matt after he promised her they were still a team. Matt then told Ryan. When Josh came to offer the deal, Ryan told him he already knew it was coming because Natalie told Matt. But, he seemed to be seriously contemplating backdooring Matt.
Chelsia managed to save herself by winning the POV in the competition. The competition also offered prizes. We saw some real virtues come out as Adam gave Sheila his $10,000 prize because she was a single mom and he knew she could use it, yet Ryan took it away later, leaving her with only Jen’s red unitard from last season. Sheila was NOT happy and Chelsia worked up her ire, telling her to not play the “single mom” card.
Sheila started talking to Ryan about how Matt needed to stay – that she, Matt, and Adam were really the only ones that had his back in the game. Adam was apparently completely clueless to anything going on it the game this week, as he didn’t seem to be talking to either side.
After Chelsia used the veto, Ryan said he had a tough choice. He mentioned the house being divided and nominated James. JAMES? You have to be kidding me! Yes, James was in the Josh alliance, but he was hardly the ringleader. I thought maybe he would nominate Matt and stick with the deal or nominate Josh (could someone please get him out of the house?) or even Sheila for coming to him at the last minute pleading to save Matt. But James? That shocked me!
Matt told everyone sitting there that if they had something to say about him, they should come to him and that it was on now. Ryan said, “I’m no one’s bitch in this game.” James seemed – well, a bit shell-shocked. Sharon was promised safety, but I don’t think any former promises are expected to be honored now.
