Big Brother 10: Dan Nominates Jerry and Memphis
When we last left Big Brother, there was a huge Sumo wrestler in the living room. No one knew quite what to do with him, but then he started getting up and moving a bit, then sitting down. Dan noticed the envelope under him and finally grabbed it. It told the houseguests of the luxury competition.
Things really get slow at this point in the game, with Memphis throwing a live moth into a spider’s web in the courtyard for amusement, much to Dan’s amazement. The courtyard was filled with statues and stuff while the houseguests slept, then an ape – okay, Jessie in an ape suit – woke them all up and brought them down. They had to study the stuff in the courtyard and come up with a phrase. They could make three guesses in three hours and the one that was correct the earliest would win the luxury competition. As time went by, the ape covered up items that were not relevant to the phrase.
As the ape went back into the house to disappear, he made the patented Jessie grunting noise and they finally realized it was Jessie. Dan was the winner of the competition, correctly guessing Bury the Hatchet from a huge blueberry and a hatching egg with IT on it. He went to the diary room and was told he won a day on a remote island. He could either take someone from the house with him or a jury member.
He decided to take Michelle to win her vote. But, he lied to the houseguests, saying he could take one person from the house with him or go alone. He didn’t want to create any tension, so he told them he chose to go alone.
Dan and Memphis talked about the possibilities for nominations. They decided that Memphis should go up on the block to make it look like they weren’t in an alliance and they had a better chance of winning the POV and going to the final three. So, Dan nominated Memphis and Jerry, keeping Keesha safe for at least a few more days.
