Big Brother 8: Amber is Eliminated
Hallelujah! Amber and her delusional crying self is finally gone from the house. I really thought Zach had screwed himself playing both sides, especially when Evil Dick found out, but I guess everyone was just so tired of Amber, it didn’t matter. Of course, Jameka was heartbroken. Before she was eliminated, Amber and Jameka tried once again to convince Jessica that Eric was trying to run the house through her. They said he purposefully lost the HOH competitions so he wouldn’t have a picture of his girlfriend that he would have to explain to Jess.
And speaking of said girlfriend, we finally got to meet her tonight. Big Brother talked to Eric’s big brother, who professed that any feelings Eric has for Jess is genuine. He said Eric and Cheryl had dated off and on for a long time and right before he left for Big Brother, Eric wanted to get back with her, but Cheryl said no. Then they interviewed Cheryl. She certainly didn’t seem like a women who said no. She said she missed Eric, is a little jealous of his relationship with Jess, and that she couldn’t wait to see him. Hum… Oh, and so far, Eric has won $30,000 for completing his Anerica’s Player tasks.
Julie questioned Daniele about Nick and she said she’d tell him “1 5 3.” When pressured by Julie for the meaning, Daniele said Nick would know. Dang, I wanted to know too! When Julie talked to Amber after she left, Amber said she knew there was something in this Big Brother appearance for her whether it be as an “inspirational speaker” or to go to nursing school. She is just crazy!
Finally, we were left with the housemates working to gain the HOH title. They had to transfer 55 gallons of tea from a huge teapot to something that looked like a fishbowl with a tiny cup that only held 3 ounces of tea. That should take them like forever! Next Tuesday, Janelle will make an appearance on the show and Thursday night – double live elimination!
