Big Brother 8: Jen Gets Veto – Nick Nominated
Ah, this episode, Dustin went from THE MAN to the man…that everyone despised. During the POV competition, he used his points to get a vacation to Barbados and $5,000 while many of the other contestants were fighting to keep his nominations. By the end of the POV competition (which Jameka won), everyone was disgusted with Dustin. Jameka had promised Jen the POV if she won, because Jen chose her name from the bag. But, Jen threw the last question on purpose, knowing it would cause Jameka to win and save her. Even Jameka knew it.
I loved it when Dick confronted Jameka about her thoughts on the game. She said her name was on the ball Jen chose for a reason and God wanted her to fight to keep her in the house. Dick told her God had better things to do then worry about her name being on the ping-pong ball. That was too funny! He also asked Dustin why he took the prizes during the POV, losing points and putting his nominations in jeopardy. Dustin said he was selfish. Duh, you think? Amber, his best friend in the house, was especially angry with him.
Eric started his new “I’d do that for a dollar” catchphrase. He is so funny – I think everyone in the house loves Eric. The Late Night Crew (everyone but Jen, Kail, Nick, and Zach) decided that Jameka was going to stand by her word and remove Jen from the chopping block. But, they were unsure who to put up…Zach? Nick? When everyone decided Nick needed to go, Daniele was upset and had to leave.
In the end, Jameka reluctantly went through with her word and saved Jen. Dustin nominated Nick, but who knows, they may still get rid of Kail.
