Big Brother 8: Jen Wins Veto – Mike Gets Nominated
Tonight started off funny, with the housemates challenging Zach to streak to the pool. That was about the last lighthearted moment. Well, okay, Eric being instructed to vandalize Jen’s stuff and squirting her shirt and pillow with mustard was pretty funny.
Dick kept harassing Kail, telling her unless she won the POV, she had no chance of staying. But Mike tells her he’s still on her team. Unfortunately, he wasn’t in the POV competition. Kail was first out of the competition, which was to stand on a pedestal wearing a big hat with a glass balanced on top of it. The other housemates got to taunt the remaining contestants. One by one, they fell until it was just between Jen and Dick. Dick told her to give up and he assured her she was safe, but she wouldn’t give up. Mike started taunting Dick, under instruction from Kail. Dick kept telling Mike he would put him up, but Mike kept on until finally, Dick took his glass off his hat and smashed it, giving Jen the POV.
Dick was made that Zach, Jen, and Nick were in the HOH room. He went to confront Nick. He still doesn’t trust him and even considered putting him on the block tonight. Daniele told Dick people were tired of his power trip and they were taking it out on her. Cry, cry, cry, whine, whine, whine. Eat a sandwich or something Daniele!
In the end, Jen took herself off the block and Dick put up Mike, calling him stupid. I agree – he could have bailed on Kail and made her the sacrificial lamb, but for some reason, he chose to appear loyal. Whatever dude.
