Big Brother 8: Kail is Eliminated

Man, the moods in this house can change on a dime, can’t it? I was sure Eric was going home, which I hated because I like him. And this whole “mastermind” theory is crazy, so he doesn’t deserve to leave yet. Within a week, he went from one of the most beloved houseguests to one of the most hated.

And while I am talking about houseguests, what kind of nutcase is Amber? First of all, I don’t think she can complete a sentence without crying and what was the whole thing about telling her boyfriend she was pregnant twice when she wasn’t? Was she trying to scare him off? Was she trying to get him to marry her? I don’t understand. And when Julie said there was an explosion – eh, I wasn’t that impressed. It was just Amber ranting and raving like a lunatic at Eric. And speaking of ranting, what is up with Daniele “doing this for Nick?” She could have saved him, as could have Dick, but no, they were so sure he was playing both sides, just like they are sure Eric is. You’d think if you had been wrong once, you might be a bit hasty to judge so quickly again. And while I have Dick on my mind, I am getting a bit tired of him strutting around the house acting like he knows everything. At first, I thought he was cool and funny, but the whole rock star shtick is starting to wear thin with me.

So Amber swore she would vote for Kail to leave on her daughter’s life before she realized how “bad” Eric was. Then Dustin told her he would vote Kail out. He lied. I like Dustin. Amber tried to persuade Jameka and Jessica to vote against Eric, but in the end, it was very, very close, but Kail was eliminated and Eric gets to stay.

Dick was ticked about that, but then there is even more potential bad news his way as Jessica won HOH. Personally, I think Eric got hosed when he was eliminated on the second question after Julie called him by the answer on the first question! Anyhow, Dustin and Eric were very, very happy with Jessica’s win. Things are going to be very interesting next week.
