Big Brother 9: James is Eliminated…then Brought Back!

Chelsia got all up in Ryan’s face about the James nomination. He put her in her place then told her and Matt to leave the room. He told Josh he could still trust him. Sheila promised Sharon that they wanted James out, and then changed her mind after Sharon told her about Matt kissing her when Sharon was HOH. Sheila lapped up the gossip (Matt’s not a good kisser according to Sharon), then went and told Natalie. Those two then decided that James needed to stay and Sharon needed to go.

Natalie confronted Matt about the kissing and he apologized, but after she berated him for a while about voting for Sharon, he finally said he would vote that way if it would make her happy. The fighting continued until Matt said he was moving out of the bed and asked Natalie if she was with him or against him. She said she didn’t know.

By a vote of 5 to 1, James was eliminated and it was weird, only Chelsia hugged him – everyone else sat there. He told Julie he had asked them to not get up – he knew he would be voted out by them and didn’t want the fake goodbyes.

Julie warned us one of the houseguests might be coming back, based on America’s voting. America choose Alex as the houseguest to return (Parker came in second), but there was a twist – the house got the final vote. They could choose either the previous houseguest (Alex was going to be in a box so the houseguests didn’t know who it was) or James. By a vote of 5 to 3, they chose James. Needless to say, Chelsia was happy.

The show ended with the HOH competition – the houseguests hanging on chains with disco balls attached to the bottom. They were going up in the air, spinning, then falling again. The houseguest who stays on the longest would win HOH.
