Big Brother 9: Nominations Stay!
Everyone was feeling edgy it seemed. Matt felt betrayed, but James acted cocky about his decision to put him up on the block. Sheila started talking crap about Allison and Sharon told her. Allison confronted Sheila. It seems that Sheila felt used after saving Allison, then being ignored by Allison. She said Allison “owed” her. Why she kept bringing up Allison’s education, I don’t know. Anyhow, those two decided to not talk to each other any more. So much for the lesbian couple.
For the Veto ceremony, it was Matt and Natalie, James and Chelsia, Alex and Amanda, and they chose Josh and Sharon from the bag. The challenge was to link together phone lines until they worked. The winner would not only win the POV, but also the house would get communication with the outside world. Josh and Sharon won, just barely beating out Alex and Amanda. Their communication was a news feed. Did Amanda really pronounce Obama’s first name as “Barrack?”
There is nothing like health drama to bring the house back together. Allison was running in the courtyard when she stopped and ran into the Diary Room. She asked for medical assistance, saying her throat was closing because she was having an allergic reaction to something. At the same time, Amanda, who hadn’t been eating much slop, told Natalie she felt bad and was going to bed. Before she could make it there, she passed out. Natalie called the guys and James helped her while the nurse who had been helping Allison ran out. Everyone was impressed with James’ helping Amanda so much – even Matt!
The ambulance took Amanda and Allison away, but they were back before long. Everyone hugged and Sheila, Allison, and Amanda agreed to change their attitudes. I think that will last about, oh, an hour or so.
The POV ceremony was less than exciting, with Josh and Sharon respecting the nominations of James and Chelsia. I dunno if Amanda will get enough sympathy to keep her and Alex in the game or if it will be Matt and Natalie staying.
