Big Brother 9: Sharon and Sheila are Nominated
Sharon was angry that Josh was gone and she and James bellyached about hating everyone in the house while Team Christ celebrated their victory of Adam winning HOH. However, their celebration may have been premature.
Sheila was feeling like the odd man out on Team Christ and even went outside to talk to Sharon and James. Adam noted that James was a “beaten man.” The producers did a montage of Sheila constantly being the butt of the other housemate’s jokes. I particularly like when they threw flour on her while she was sunbathing. She took all that well, but moaned to Adam about missing her son. She felt that Adam above all other’s in the house understood her the best.
The food competition was to build mashed potato tunnels down a hilly platform then pour gravy down them. The gravy had to fill up a container that listed what the house got to eat for the week. They ended up with meat, fish, desserts, snacks, dairy, eggs, bread, pasta, a barbecue grill, and outdoor toys – whatever that is.
James tells Adam that his is the only one that hasn’t wronged him in the game. It hurts Adam that James is “on an island” all by himself in the game. James goes up to the HOH room to talk to Adam and when Natalie hears her name, she comes up to straighten out Adam. She and Ryan had been discussing how if James isn’t nominated and wins POV, he will save Sharon, and then one of them will go on the block.
Adam tells James that he is going up on the block and that is all there is. James says everyone “isolated” him and cries and immediately Adam offers him a hug. Even Natalie joined in a some point. After she left, James and Adam talk some more. After more tearful exchanges between the two, Adam tells him not to use the POV if he wins it. James assures him he won’t and Adam tells him not to worry, he is safe.
While contemplating who to nominate, Adam said he had to do what was best for him. He did nominate Sheila and Sharon, but said that he did it to make the POV a serious thing, for everyone’s safety. Ryan said that move will screw him in the end, Natalie called him an “idiot,” and Sheila told him that move made him top the list for biggest jerk in the house. Please, she has been riding the coattails of these other guys the whole game. I don’t think she’s ever won anything. Like Adam said, time to get off your butt and fight if you want to stay in the house!
